Body Tonewoods
The top of the DR-100 is made from select spruce, while the back and sides are constructed from mahogany, giving the DR-100 balanced expression, warm bass, and excellent projection.
Rosewood Fingerboard with Dot Inlays
The fingerboard of the DR-100 is constructed from rosewood. The resilience of this durable wood makes the fingerboard extremely balanced and stable, and gives each chord and note clarity and bite.
Angled Headstock
Unlike cheaper designs, all Epiphones feature a 14-degree headstock that gives you more pressure at the nut and so you get more sustain with less tuning hang-ups caused by “string-tree” gadgets.

Best guitar for the money,
After speaking with several musicians and doing more research on this than I’ve ever done before, I have to say you can’t go wrong with this little black beauty.

Awesome guitar guys. The finish is beautiful and after a little tuning I had it sounding just like I thought it would. There were other reviews saying it doesn’t stay in tune and the fret wires were cut too long, but I haven’t experienced either one of these. Seriously, if you’re a beginner guitarest and want a clean looking good sounding guitar while staying low in price… look no further than this.
